survey conducted by major phone companies revealed that while passkeys or fingerprints that dominated the world of mobile phone users' privacy, mobile giants area constantly exploring trends in their current and potential segments, which means increasing creative competition.
In the Middle East and the Gulf countries in particular, population growth rates indicate a high rate of youth. By 2030, for example, the Kingdom's youth population, below 30 years, is expected to reach 70 per cent of young people.
Vice President of Honor in the Middle East and Africa Chris San Paigong, sees the spirit of youth and innovation as the driving force that urges them to further enhance their privacy techniques through the face unlock feature of the Honor 9 Lite and the Honor 7X thanks to the latest update. Advanced technology for artificial intelligence is being used to unlock the smartphone immediately after scanning the user's face and identifying its features.
The new service uses facial recognition techniques, and all what the user has to do is register his/her facial features through the settings menu, look at the front camera of the phone and the camera will do the rest.
Additionally, the unlock feature recognizes face features on dynamic techniques that can prevent attempts to unlock the user's device using copied, printed or video images, or in cases where the user's eyes are closed when trying to recognize the face.
