Dr. Al-Issa presides over Islamic delegation to visit some genocide sites in Bosnia and Poland
Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Council of Senior Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, presides over a high-ranking Islamic delegation from the Islamic world scholars from various sects and accompanied by religious leaders to visit the genocide sites in Srebrenica in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the death camp in Auschwitz, Poland.
This comes within an international tour to a raft of sites that have been subjected to injustice and persecution. The visit also comes within the framework of condemnation of these heinous crimes committed against humanity, regardless of the identity or values of the perpetrators or victims.
Muslims condemn every criminal act, regardless of its source. These are the values of Islam. These meanings will be expressed by a large number of Islamic leaders, including senior scholars who will pay these visits.
They will also stress that the Islamic standpoint carries only its abstract supreme values to express the justice of Islam with everyone and that it is a religion of mercy and fairness. Islam is against all evil practices and this position is not limited to Muslims only, but surpasses this scope to include the all as well.
With the participation of a large number of high-level Muslim scholars, the Muslim World League exerted arduous efforts with the aim of indicating the justice and the true image of Islam through several visits, meetings, initiatives and statements.
This caused others to express their confidence in the supreme values of Islam. In addition, these visits will indicate the true image of Islam and Muslims in the west to remove and settle any old grudges.
