Saudi Press: Saudi G20 presidency is characterized by strong planning, initiatives 2
Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that over the past decades, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has exerted great efforts and provided multiple services for pilgrims and Umrah performers.
The editorial said that Saudi Arabia does not hesitate to take any decisions that would prevent everything that disturbs performing Hajj and Umrah rituals.
The editorial added that it was difficult for Saudi Arabia to close the Two Holy Mosques, but it did in order to preserve Muslims, whether Saudis or non-Saudis.
The editorial further added that Saudi Arabia conducted an exceptional hajj with limited numbers of pilgrims from inside Saudi Arabia, Saudis and non-Saudis, with precautionary and preventive measures that guaranteed the safety of everyone.
The editorial concluded that these unprecedented steps have strengthened the Islamic world's confidence in Saudi Arabia as a country that serves the Two Holy Mosques and provides services for millions of pilgrims and Umrah performers annually.
