Local Hajj pilgrims can apply online from Saturday
Online applications for local Muslims, including citizens and residents will be open for registration for a period of seven days from Saturday ,First of Dhul Hajj.
The prospective applicants can make the payments also online through the Saddad scheme.
The Ministry of Hajjj has unveiled three packages to suit the various categories of applicants who want good services from the Hajj operators.
The General category consist of variety of value added services services such as lodging in Mina towers, return flights land transportation to Makkah, inclusive of the essential services. Further, Hajj Service providers may include optional additional services. Cost will be SR 6,508 SR - 11,905
The second is the Low Fare category , which is value driven with several options in lodging in Mina camps, and a return land transportation from the city of the pilgrim. In addition to the Mashaer train services for SR 3,447 SR -4,797 SAR
The third group is the Moyassur, which is designed to accommodate all the essential services with a fixed rate, and to those who wish to lodge in approved Accommodation buildings near by Mina, and facilities to utilize Mashaer train for SR 3,465 SAR
All online applications have to be supported with the required identity and payments according to the regulations.
The pilgrims are at liberty to choose the packages of their choice according to their convenience, the Ministry of Hajjj said.
Local pilgrims are required to have vaccination against meningitis in time. According to a health official from the Ministry of Health, the vaccination which is mandatory on all local pilgrims should be taken 10 days before their departure to get the best results from the vaccination.
Those who have chronic diseases should consult their family doctors before they begin their pilgrimage, the ministry added.
