King Salman Issues Number of Royal Order
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued the following royal orders:
1- Relieving Sulaiman bin Abdullah Al-Hamdan of his post as Minister of Civil Service.
2- Relieving Engineer Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar of his post as Governor of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority.
3- The Ministry of Civil Service is joined to the Ministry of Labor and Social Development and its name is amended to be The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
4- The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority is transformed into a ministry with the name of Ministry of Investment.
5- The Ministry of Commerce and Investment is renamed as the Ministry of Commerce.
6- The General Sports Authority is transformed into a ministry and renamed as the Ministry of Sports.
7- The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage is transformed into a ministry and renamed as the Ministry of Tourism.
8- Appointing Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal Al Saud as Minister of Sports.
9- Relieving Turki bin Abdullah Al-Shabanah of his post as Minister of Media.
10- Appointing the Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi as Acting Minister of Media in addition to his post.
11- Appointing Majid bin Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Hoqail, Minister of Housing as Acting Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs in addition to his post.
12- Appointing Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb as Minister of Tourism.
13- Appointing Engineer Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih as Minister of Investment.
14- Appointing Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Ameel as Deputy Secretary General of the Cabint, at the Excellent Rank.
15- Appointing Munir bin Mahmoud bin Ibrahim El-Desouki as Assistant Minister of Communication and Information Technology at the Excellent Rank.
16- Appointing Dr. Sami bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Hamoud as Assistant Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Planning and Development at the Excellent Rank.
