
Kyrgyzstan honors " Al-Balsam" after 112 successful heart surgeries
Al-Balsam Association for Training and Health Development concluded its treatment mission for heart patients, which continued from 10 to 17 November in the Kyrgyz Republic, under the auspices and supervision of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
The Al-Balsam Association carried out surgeries for patients at the National Center for Cardiology and Internal Medicine Mirakhinov, and the Scientific Research Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation in the capital, Bishkek. Within the framework of its medical campaign, the Al-Balsam Association succeeded in conducting 18 open-heart operations and 94 interventional and diagnostic catheterization procedures. The total number of patients reached 112, most of whom were rare and difficult cases.
Kyrgyz Ministry of Health officials said that the Al-Balsam medical team was keen to teach, guide, and share information with local doctors during their medical campaign so as to help them benefit from the expertise of the Al-Balsam medical team.
At the end of the campaign, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan honored the medical team of the Al-Balsam Association in a closing ceremony attended by Mr. Saad Al-Dhawayan, Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in Bishkek, Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, and the representative of the President of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan.
For his part, Mr. Saad Al-Dhawayan said that the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Kyrgyzstan are strong and growing in all fields and at various levels, praising what has been achieved during this medical campaign.
Kyrgyz Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev praised the efforts of the medical team of the Al-Balsam Association, expressing his aspirations for more cooperation in the health field to benefit from the expertise of Saudi doctors.
The Kyrgyz Minister of Health extended his thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - and all the employees of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and the Al-Balsam Association for Training and Health Development, for their support of the Kyrgyz people.
Dr. Abdullah Ashmik, the cardiac surgeon and head of the medical team of the Al-Balsam Association, spoke about the Kingdom's humanitarian efforts to reach all those in need of its services all over the world, stressing that all members of the medical convoy in Kyrgyzstan are soldiers of the KSA who are always ready to go anywhere in the world to complete their humanitarian mission.
Dr. Ashmik extended his thanks to the King Salman Relief Center (KSrelief), the Al-Balsam Association, the Kyrgyz government, officials of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health, and the Kyrgyz people, expressing his happiness with the success of the Al-Balsam campaign in Kyrgyzstan to achieve all its goals.
