SDAIA Concludes First Hackathon with Data Fusion in Medical Field in Cooperation with Stanford University

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) concluded today the first Hackathon with Data Fusion in the Medical Field through the development of artificial intelligence applications. The hackathon was held over four days in partnership with Stanford University and took place at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence in Riyadh.

 The competition has attracted more than 40 participants with a passion for artificial intelligence and healthcare under the guidance of experts from SDAIA and Stanford University. The participants were tasked with finding advanced technical solutions to advance the use of different data types to improve disease treatment.

 The first-place winner was awarded SAR 30,000, with the second and third-place awarded SAR 15,000 and SAR 10,000, respectively.
