Yemeni prime minister praises his country's army victories against Houthi militias
Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Obaid bin Dughr hailed the qualitative
military victories achieved by the national army with the direct support
of the Arab coalition forces in defeating the Iran-backed Houthi
militias in the western coast zone.
Yemeni National Army forces, supported by the Arab coalition
airstrikes, were able to advance on the West Coast Front in the vicinity
of Hodeidah, west of Yemen.
Military sources said in a statement to "September Net" of the
Yemeni Ministry of Defense that the forces of the Yemeni National Army
advanced to the point ''kilo 16'', controlling the area.
The military sources said, according to the Yemeni news agency, that
the liberation of "Kilo 16" came after confrontations with the Houthi
militias, during which a Houthi militia leader nicknamed "Abu Tamam" and
a number of his colleagues were killed in action.
