Al-Faleh discusses aspects of investment in petrochemicals and electricity with South African energy minister
Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Faleh, Minister of Energy, Industry and
Mineral Resources, met in Jeddah today with the South African Minister
of Energy Jeff Radebe on the sidelines of the visit of the President of
South Africa to the Kingdom.
Following the meeting, Al-Faleh said in a statement to the Saudi
Press Agency that the Kingdom is South Africa's biggest supplier of oil
with about 150,000 barrels, noting that he discussed with the President
and the minister of energy investment in the field of petrochemicals and
refining, citing that the South African side expressed wish to welcome
some Saudi private companies to invest in the field of power generation
in South Africa.
