King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center Distributes Food Aid and Shelter Materials, and Implementing Water and Environmental Sanitation Project in Yemen
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed more than 140 tons of food aid and shelter materials over the displaced in the directorate of Dar Saad, Maareb and Aden governorates in Yemen, benefiting more than 9000 individuals.
The consignment comes within the framework of the humanitarian aid, provided by King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, which is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia's relief arm, to the needy in Yemen without discrimination.
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has continued implementing the water and environmental sanitation project to preserve the lives of families in Hodeidah Governorate, Yemen.
During December 2020, 1,443,000 liters of drinking water and 1,313,000 liters non-drinking water were pumped to the tanks. The KSrelief also transferred waste and wastewater from the camps to their disposal sites, continued maintenance of tanks and bathrooms, and implemented spray campaigns to combat disease vectors.
The project comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects, provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for the Yemeni people to improve their living conditions during the current humanitarian crisis.
