Dependant fee is nonrefundable

The General Directorate of Passports has denied that the dependant fee would be refunded if family members of expatriates leave the Kingdom for good before expiry of their Iqamas.
Refuting social media reports in this regard, the Directorate clarified on its official Twitter account that the fee would remain binding once the Iqama is renewed.
The dependent fee, which was introduced last year, is imposed monthly on family members of all foreign nationals.
