
NWC Completes SAR37 Million Water Network Project in Al-Baha's Qilwah Governorate
The National Water Company (NWC) announced that its southern sector has completed the implementation of a drinking water pipelines and networks project in Qilwah Governorate, Al-Baha Region.
In a recent press release, NWC stated that the SAR37 million project will serve more than 10,000 beneficiaries. Completed on schedule, it addresses the increasing demand for water services in the region. NWC also reaffirmed its commitment to upholding the highest quality standards across all its projects.
The initiative included the implementation of water transmission pipelines and distribution networks in Qilwah, with a total length of 141,870 meters. Additionally, a pumping station with a daily capacity exceeding 8,400 cubic meters was built to expand service coverage and supply water to the largest possible number of residents in the governorate and its villages.
The project is part of NWC’s ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiency, improve water distribution and delivery, support water security, and provide sustainable water services across all cities and governorates of the Kingdom, in line with well-planned schedules and high-quality standards.
