
Girl Scouts Reinforce Their Role in Supporting Pilgrims
Vice President of the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association and General Supervisor of public service camps Dr. Abdulrahman bin Ibrahim Al-Mudaris affirmed that the association is playing a transformative role in empowering girls. He said that the progress made in the girls' division marks a strategic shift fully aligned with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) during the opening of the Girl Scouts camp, attended by Head of the Girl Scouts Committee Princess Sama bint Faisal bin Abdullah, Al-Mudaris announced that the association has begun early preparations to serve pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj season. He noted that this year’s efforts are guided by an institutional plan emphasizing quality and innovation.
For her part, Princess Sama affirmed that the Girl Scouts have demonstrated a high level of competence and the ability to represent the Kingdom across various scouting fields. She praised the significant development seen in the girls’ camps, particularly in terms of equipment, planning, and execution.
