Foreign Minister Holds Phone Call with Egyptian Foreign Minister
Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held a phone call with Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt Dr. Badr Abdelatty.
During the call, they reviewed the fraternal and strategic relations between the two brotherly countries and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation across various fields.
The Egyptian foreign minister reiterated his country’s condemnation of all attacks targeting the Kingdom, affirming Egypt’s full support for the Kingdom’s security and stability.
The two ministers also discussed current regional developments, stressing the need to safeguard the security of maritime routes and freedom of navigation, particularly in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait. They reaffirmed the two brotherly countries’ steadfast support for Sudan’s unity and sovereignty and the preservation of its national institutions, in a manner that safeguards its security and stability and fulfils the aspirations of the brotherly Sudanese people.
