Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Reserve Launches Historic King Abdulaziz Palace in Linah
Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Nature Reserve Development Authority announced the launch of the Historic King Abdulaziz Palace in Linah as part of a package of tourism and cultural programs for the Darb Zubaida Winter Season. The initiative aims to highlight the region’s historical and architectural heritage and enhance the visitor experience throughout the season.
The authority explained that activating the palace is part of its approach to linking historical sites with high-quality tourism activities, offering an integrated experience that reflects the site’s depth and historical value, revitalizes cultural tourism, and enriches the tourism content of the Darb Zubaida Winter Season.
The Historic King Abdulaziz Palace is one of the most prominent historical landmarks in Northern Borders Region. It was constructed using traditional building materials — stone, clay, and adobe — consistent with the traditional Saudi architectural style.
The authority noted that the palace would welcome visitors throughout the Darb Zubaida Winter Season from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm as part of unified tourism programs aimed at organizing visitor flow and providing opportunities to explore historical sites in a safe and attractive environment that reflects the region’s identity and history.
