SDAIA Explores Applications of Generative AI in Energy Sector

The Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA) and energy experts representing more than 20 government and private entities discussed exploring applications of generative artificial intelligence (AI) in the energy sector and its role in improving operational efficiency and developing smart and innovative models in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 The event was held at SDAIA-based National Center for Artificial Intelligence (NCAI) in Riyadh. The symposium was called "Generative AI in Energy".

 It discussed “The Energy Sector in Transformations in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” with the participation of a group of specialists in AI technologies and the energy sector. Points of view were exchanged on the role of AI in achieving sustainability, developing future operational models, and advancing AI solutions in the energy sector.

 The symposium comes as part of SDAIA's efforts to enhance integration between the energy and technology sectors and support the development of innovative solutions that contribute to building a more efficient and sustainable future for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the two sectors. This is in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to leverage advanced technologies in various fields that benefit the nation.
