KSUMC Obtains MAGNET Designation for Excellence in Nursing and Healthcare

The King Saud University Medical City (KSUMC) has received the prestigious American MAGNET designation for its three hospitals: King Abdulaziz University Hospital, King Khalid University Hospital, and the University Dental Hospital. This honor is one of the highest international recognitions in nursing and healthcare, awarded by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to institutions that meet exemplary standards in nursing practice and support work environments. The announcement was made during a ceremony attended by Acting President of King Saud University Dr. Ali Masmali.

 CEO of KSUMC Dr. Ahmed Hersi expressed pride in the high standards of healthcare, training, and research at the medical city. He noted that the MAGNET designation positions it as a competitive global healthcare center, reflecting teamwork and commitment to nursing excellence. This achievement supports patient safety, healthcare outcomes, and national initiatives to improve the Kingdom's healthcare sector.
