King Salman Science Oasis Announces Establishment of Quantum Club

King Salman Science Oasis concluded an event today on the future of quantum technologies and their applications in Saudi Arabia. The event, organized to celebrate World Quantum Day 2024, was spearheaded by the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) in the Kingdom, affiliated with the World Economic Forum (WEF), in collaboration with the Oasis.
Over fifteen hundred students from schools in Riyadh, as well as numerous schools from various regions of the Kingdom, along with quantum technology enthusiasts from the public, participated in the event, which commenced in mid-April.
Through five programs meticulously crafted by the Oasis in the realm of quantum physics and quantum computing, students were immersed in the history of the Industrial Revolution and the prospective advancements with quantum physics and its applications. These programs included quantum theatre, Quantum 32, quantum computing, and quantum science discussions.
The King Salman Science Oasis extends an invitation to enthusiasts to join the Quantum Club, which the Oasis is establishing as part of its program to bolster support for scientific clubs and their activities in Riyadh.
