
11th Saudi Film Festival Concludes, Honoring Seven Films with Golden Palm Awards
The 11th edition of the Saudi Film Festival concluded on the evening of April 23, 2025. The festival was organized by the Cinema Association, in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra), and supported by the Film Commission of the Ministry of Culture.
During its sessions, experts emphasized the importance of understanding modern methods for film marketing and income generation, and how to transform films into creative products capable of reaching global audiences. Participants shared diverse perspectives on how to build their concepts and implement future film projects.
The festival featured a panel titled "From Concept to Global Reach: How Filmmakers Can Navigate International Festivals and Markets," which presented professional insights on audience engagement. A workshop on "Distributing and Marketing Artistic Films" outlined key cinematic marketing strategies, while another training session explored the impact of interactive platforms.
Additionally, a panel discussion titled "Cinema of Identity: Between Creativity and Reality" featured the participation of a number of filmmakers.
