Gulf Theater Festival Organizes ‘Adghath Ahlam’ Play at Taif University

The theater of Taif University (TU) hosted a performance of the play “Adghath Ahlam” (Jumbled Dreams), presented by male and female students of Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University (IMSIU). This took place as part of the Sixth Gulf Theater Festival for universities and higher education institutions in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
The play delved into real-life issues and dreams, intertwining emotions and contradictions within the main character's world. This prompted questions and inquiries about the intersection of reality and dreams.
Following the theatrical performance, judging committees extensively discussed it in an applied workshop, reviewing aspects of direction, performance, and other artistic effects that distinguished the play. The audience actively engaged in exchanging opinions and ideas, conducting deep analyses of the artistic message and symbolic meanings conveyed by the play.
This left a lasting impression on the audience and participants, igniting discussions and inquiries about real-life issues and dreams.
