Vice Foreign Minister Attends 166th Ordinary Session of Arab League Council at Ministerial Level

 On behalf of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed Elkhereiji on Monday participated in the 166th ordinary session of the Arab League Council at the ministerial level, held at the Arab League General Secretariat headquarters in Cairo.
 The meeting reviewed the progress of joint Arab action and ways to develop its mechanisms to meet the aspirations of member states and their peoples.
 It also discussed the importance of intensifying Arab coordination to halt Israeli violations in the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as blatant Iranian attacks on a number of Arab countries, which resulted in targeting civilians and vital facilities.
 Moreover, the meeting addressed developments on the Arab and international scenes, including the security and safety of international waterways and ensuring freedom of maritime navigation, the need for the Strait of Hormuz to return to its normal status, and efforts to enhance security and stability for the region and its peoples.
