Jazan Launches Crafts Market Program to Empower Youth in Traditional Arts
The Crafts Market program, a joint initiative by the Alrowad Youth Association in Jazan and the Cultural House, and overseen by the Heritage Commission, launched yesterday, aiming to empower local youth to acquire diverse craft skills and enhance creativity through training workshops led by distinguished local craftspeople.
Running until the end of November and held weekly on Fridays and Saturdays at the Cultural House, the workshops cover pottery, sculpture, painting, candle and perfume making, leather arts, embroidery, jewelry and accessories, branding, and product packaging.
