NCA Launches Initiative to Empower SMEs in Cybersecurity

The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), in partnership with the Saudi Information Technology Company (SITE), has launched a new initiative for empowering small and medium enterprises in cybersecurity. The initiative aims to enhance the cybersecurity readiness of SMEs in the Kingdom by providing vulnerability assessment and management solutions, thereby ensuring business continuity and strengthening national cybersecurity, in cooperation with the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at).

The initiative was unveiled during the first day of the Biban Forum 2025, organized by Monsha'at under the theme “Global Destination for Opportunities.”

Targeting more than 500 enterprises, the initiative provides continuous monitoring. It offers tools such as periodic reports, advanced analysis, and practical recommendations to help SMEs protect their systems and data effectively from cyber risks. It supports national efforts to promote cybersecurity in the private sector, a key driver of economic growth and a vital contributor to achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, while fostering a safe and reliable Saudi cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity.

The NCA is the competent authority for cybersecurity in the Kingdom and serves as the national reference in this field. It aims to strengthen cybersecurity to safeguard vital interests, national security, and critical infrastructure, and is responsible for developing policies, governance mechanisms, frameworks, standards, and guidelines related to cybersecurity.
