Minister of Commerce Meets with Pakistani Prime Minister, Other Officials at World Economic Forum

Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi met Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Special Meeting in Riyadh.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation and develop trade between their countries.
Dr. Al-Qasabi, along with the deputy minister of commerce, Dr. Iman bint Habas Al-Mutairi, also held meetings with Nigerian Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite and the Bangladeshi prime minister's advisor for industry and investment affairs Salman Fazlur Rahman.
They discussed expanding trade, facilitating business conditions, and leveraging the Kingdom's experience in economic reforms.
Additionally, Dr. Al-Qasabi held bilateral meetings with Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Horn, African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretary-General Wamkele Mene, and Agility board of directors chair Henadi Al-Saleh. They discussed strengthening bilateral relations, facilitating trade in services, exchanging knowledge, building capabilities in innovation and emerging sectors, improving logistics infrastructure, and enhancing the Kingdom's position as a global trade center.
