Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Kingdom Welcomes Results of Independent Committee’s Report on UNRWA

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the results of the report issued by the Independent Committee. The report focuses on the performance of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) and confirms the agency's main role in supporting relief, humanitarian, and development efforts for the Palestinian people.

 Moreover, the Ministry emphasized the importance of donor countries' commitment to UNRWA to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of all forms of support for Palestinian refugees. This commitment should mitigate their suffering, especially in light of the Israeli occupation's continuous violations of international law and international humanitarian law.
