Northern Border University Publishes 3,134 Scientific Papers in 2025

Northern Border University announced significant achievements in scientific research in 2025, with the publication of 3,134 scientific papers, according to the annual report issued by the university's Deanship of Scientific Research.

 The report highlighted strong growth in publications indexed in international databases, notably Web of Science and Scopus, along with an increase in papers published in first- and second-quartile journals and those ranked among the top 10% and 5% globally.

 It also reported a rise in scientific citations and improvements in the Field-Weighted Citation Impact, reflecting the quality and influence of the university’s research output. In addition, the report noted growth in funding applications and supported research projects, the registration of several patents, and the provision of specialized research services, including the review of thousands of research papers and the approval of hundreds of research accounts.
