Saudi-Supported Quran Competition Honors Winners in Malaysia

With the support of the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the Itqan Institute for Quranic Education held its annual ceremony at the International Islamic University Malaysia to honor the winners of the 17th edition of its national Quran memorization competition for 2025. The event recognized 49 competition winners, honored the members of the judging panel, and celebrated 56 individuals who have memorized the Holy Quran.

 Malaysian Minister of Religious Affairs Senator Mohd Na'im bin Mokhtar commended the strong and fruitful partnership between Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. He expressed his appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts in promoting Islamic unity and advancing the values of moderation and tolerance.

 The Itqan Quran memorization competition is one of the most prestigious Quran competitions in Malaysia. It features eight categories for male and female participants, with prizes including cash awards, Umrah packages, and scholarships.
