Presidency of Religious Affairs Inaugurates Educational Enrichment Center at Saudi Riwaq in Grand Mosque
The Presidency of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque inaugurated on Saturday an educational and enrichment center at the Saudi Riwaq—the first of its kind.
The center aims to enhance religious awareness services for pilgrims and visitors to the Grand Mosque in multiple languages, enriching their spiritual experience through the distribution of translated religious books on rituals, interpretation, and supplications.
President of Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais affirmed that the selection of the Saudi Riwaq for the inauguration of the educational enrichment center reflects its esteemed status.
He described the Riwaq as a remarkable Islamic architectural achievement that embodies the message of Islam’s moderation and tolerance. He added that, in line with its operational plan for the 1446 AH Hajj season, the presidency has enhanced the enrichment pathways of awareness centers in the Grand Mosque in multiple languages.
He noted that during this year’s Hajj season, over 100 educational and enrichment centers will be launched throughout the Grand Mosque.
Each center will offer translated copies of the Holy Quran in various global languages, along with instructional, guiding, awareness-raising, and educational booklets on correct creed, Hajj and Umrah rituals, intellectual security, and the moderation of Islam.
He prayed that Allah would reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for their continued support and care of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
