Saudi Arabia Leads World in Arabian Horse Breeding for 9th Year, KAAHC Says
Saudi Arabia maintained its global leadership in purebred Arabian horse production, recording 5,793 foals in 2024, according to King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center (KAAHC) Director-General Abdulaziz Almuqbil.
The announcement is based on official statistics from the World Arabian Horse Organization (WAHO), the international body responsible for documenting and registering Arabian horses, during its recent meeting in the United Arab Emirates.
Almuqbil stated that the Kingdom ranked first globally in the number of purebred Arabian horse foals for the ninth consecutive year. He noted that the achievement reflects the leadership’s strong commitment to preserving this heritage, especially through the establishment of KAAHC, the official entity overseeing horse documentation and related activities in the Kingdom.
