From The Ashes: The Pit - a powerful story about friendship and second chances Premiering January 22 only on Netflix

Netflix unveils the official trailer for From the Ashes: The Pit - a gripping drama inspired by true events, exploring fractured friendships, hidden truths, and the magic of second chances.

Expanding from part one, From the Ashes: The Pit follows Mona (Aseel Morya), Mashael (Moudi Abdullah) and Heba (Wafa Al Wafi) as they enter a new chapter shaped by shifting loyalties, unspoken pain and the emotional aftermath of the fire that once bound them together.

Once inseparable, the girls now find themselves navigating distance, insecurity and the pressures of growing up - tensions heightened by the arrival of Maria (Aseel Seraj), whose flawless image hides the complexities she brings into the group dynamic.

When a confrontation breaks out during an approaching rainstorm, a sudden collapse in the schoolyard sends Mona, Mashael and Maria into a hidden pit below the grounds.

Trapped together as water begins to rise, fear, guilt and buried truths surface, forcing them to confront what broke their bond - and what might mend it.

Set between uncertainty and revelation, From the Ashes: The Pit is ultimately a story about healing - how friendships bend, break and rebuild, and how even in the darkest moments, second chances can lead to unexpected strength, empathy and connection.

Produced by Ayman Jamal and Muhammad Alawi, Directed by Abdullah Bamajboor and written by Haifa al Said and Maryam Al Hajri, the film stars Moudi Abdullah, Aseel Morya, Aseel Seraj, Wafa Al Wafi, Adhwa Fahad, Darin AlBayed and Aisha AlRifai.
