Weqaa Declares Readiness for Hajj Season to Safeguard Pilgrims

The National Center for the Prevention and Control of Plant Pests and Animal Diseases (Weqaa) in Makkah Region has announced the full readiness of its field teams to fulfill their duties during the Hajj season, ensuring the safety of pilgrims and promoting effective coordination in their operations.

 According to Weqaa, the teams have finalized their preparations, acknowledging their critical role in safeguarding public health and protecting plant and animal resources. The center aims to achieve the goals of its operational plan by deploying 73 specialized field teams in plant and animal health across the Makkah Region.
