Diriyah Season 25/26 Extends Several Programs
Diriyah Season 25/26 announced the extension of several of its programs in response to the substantial turnout and strong engagement witnessed since the season’s launch. The programs drew remarkable attendance and wide participation from visitors across Saudi Arabia and abroad.
The extension includes three of the season’s leading programs, Hal Al Qusoor, Al-Huwayett, and Samhan, which now will continue through the fourth week of March. Meanwhile, Layali Al-Diriyah will carry on as an ongoing program.
Diriyah Season director Ahlam Al-Thunayan stated that the decision to extend these programs followed consistently high attendance indicators throughout the past period, reflecting the season’s standing as a cultural and historical destination that attracts diverse audiences. She emphasized that the positive public response directly motivated the decision to provide an opportunity for a larger segment of the audience to benefit from the offered experiences.
The director expressed her sincere appreciation to the Kingdom’s leadership for their continued support of the culture and tourism sectors. She highlighted the attention and follow-up given to Diriyah Season, which have contributed to strengthening its position both locally and internationally.
Al-Thunayan affirmed that the achievements realized, reflecting the integration of efforts among the relevant entities, were made possible through the support and empowerment of Secretary-General of Diriyah Gate Development Authority Ahmed Al-Khateeb. The accomplishments are aligned with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in enhancing quality of life and strengthening the Kingdom’s position as a global destination for culture and tourism.
Diriyah Season is one of the Kingdom’s prominent national seasons, celebrating the historical heritage of the area and presenting a variety of programs that showcase the region’s identity and history within a comprehensive experience that brings together authenticity and the future.
