GDNC Foils Attempt to Smuggle 845,087 Amphetamine Pills Concealed in Cardboard Sheets in Eastern Region
As part of the Ministry of Interior's efforts to combat drug smuggling and promotion networks targeting the Kingdom's security, the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) has foiled an attempt to smuggle 845,087 amphetamine pills concealed within cardboard sheets in Eastern Region. The intended recipient, a Saudi national, was arrested in Taif Governorate.
Security authorities urged the public to report any activities related to drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and 999 in other regions, or via the GDNC hotline 995 and email 995@gdnc.gov.sa. They emphasized that all reports will be treated with strict confidentiality, with no liability for the informant.
