
SDAIA’s Smart Technologies Help Facilitate Pilgrims’ Departure from Juanda Airport Under Makkah Route Initiative
The Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA) contributed through its technical efforts at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya, Indonesia as part of its participation in supporting the "Makkah Route Initiative" for this year, 1446 AH, implemented by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation and coordination with several government entities.
SDAIA’s engineering teams worked around the clock to oversee and continuously monitor the integrated smart technology system, ensuring smooth and secure entry procedures for travelers coming from Indonesia to the Kingdom.
These efforts are part of SDAIA’s ongoing role in coordinating with all government entities to facilitate the journey of pilgrims, leveraging its technological capabilities to enhance procedural efficiency and ease their Hajj.
These efforts reflect the directives of the wise leadership aimed at advancing the services provided to pilgrims and Umrah performers and ensuring an exceptional experience that reflects the Kingdom’s esteemed position in serving the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors.
