Civil Defense Bans Gas Cylinders in Pilgrim Camps, Holy Sites During Hajj Season

The General Directorate of Civil Defense has banned the entry and use of all types and sizes of liquefied gas cylinders in pilgrim camps and the headquarters of government and private agencies within the holy sites. This ban is effective as of this morning, Dhu Al-Hijjah 1, 1446 AH, as part of a comprehensive preventive measure to minimize the risk of accidents during the Hajj season.

 The directorate stated its preventive supervision and safety teams will conduct field inspections to enforce the gas ban within the holy sites, confiscating any gas-powered cylinders or devices found. It also emphasized that strict legal measures will be taken against violators.
