Environment Ministry Advocates for Enhanced Environmental Sustainability Efforts

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional integration within the environmental sector and establishing a strategic framework for cooperation between the ministry and the national committee for sustainability and the green economy.

 This took place during a workshop held at the ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, aimed at highlighting the importance of partnerships between government entities and relevant national committees, and strengthening joint coordination to achieve sustainability goals.

 The workshop concluded with key recommendations, including the formation of a follow-up committee and specialized working groups, the establishment of clear cooperation pathways with the private sector, support for priority investment opportunities, and the issuance of measures to enhance integration, improve implementation efficiency, and sustain the outcomes.
