Misk Art Institute Launches Ninth Edition of Misk Art Week
The Misk Art Institute, part of the non-profit Mohammed bin Salman Foundation (Misk), on Friday launched the ninth edition of Misk Art Week at the Prince Faisal bin Fahd Arts Hall in Riyadh.
Misk Art Week, a six-day event dedicated to celebrating art and artists, offers a wide range of opportunities for discovery and creative interaction. The program includes art exhibitions, live performances, specialized workshops, and public programs, along with direct engagement with various art forms through carefully curated artistic experiences. It also features an art and design market showcasing the works of numerous artists and designers, giving visitors the chance to explore distinctive art pieces and connect directly with creative talents, fostering a renewed artistic journey that celebrates expression.
Misk Art Institute CEO Reem Al-Sultan stated that Misk Art Week, now in its ninth year since its launch in 2017, is one of the most important creative platforms connecting artists with the community, celebrating their achievements, and providing opportunities for direct interaction with art. She noted that this year’s edition is attracting a wider range of artists and visitors, offering a vibrant platform for artists to showcase their creativity and for the public to experience reflection, experimentation, and inspiration. She emphasized that fostering an open environment where artistic expression flourishes reinforces the Misk Art Institute's vision of creating a thriving creative community, opening doors for everyone to benefit from the arts and supporting the evolving art scene both within the Kingdom and internationally.
Misk Art Week 2025 is supported by partners from various sectors. By expanding the circle of partnerships and offering a rich and diverse cultural program, this year’s edition contributes to deepening artistic and cultural participation, supporting the growth of a thriving creative community, and making art accessible to all.
