
Saudi Entertainment Transformed from Seasonal to Sustainable
The Chairman of the Entertainment National Committee at the Council of Saudi Chambers, Alwaleed bin Khaled Al-Baltan, said that the entertainment sector in Saudi Arabia has been transformed, thanks to Saudi's Vision 2030 and support from seasonal sectors, into a sustainable sector, creating a positive economic impact both directly and indirectly on all sectors of the national economy.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al-Baltan expressed his gratitude to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman of the Board of Directors Advisor Turki Abdulmuhsen Alalshikh for the support and empowerment the sector receives, contributing to its development and the growth of its investments.
He pointed out that these efforts have made the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia an international entertainment destination, with global companies racing to enter the Saudi market and participate in the Riyadh Season and other Saudi Seasons.
Al-Baltan noted the positive impact of the momentum witnessed by the entertainment sector in Saudi Arabia on job creation, the increasing number of Saudi entertainment companies, and investment returns in the sector. He said attracting new investors and ensuring the continuity and sustainability of investment in the sector is the true impact of the Saudi Seasons.
