Deputy Governor of Madinah Meets Members of Permanent Security Committee
Upon the directives of Governor of Madinah Region and Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah in the region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Madinah Region and Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah in the region Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz met at his office today with members of the Permanent Security Committee in the region.
At the beginning of the meeting, he conveyed the greetings of the Governor of Madinah Region to committee members and expressed appreciation for the efforts of the various security sectors participating in serving pilgrims during the Hajj season.
He reviewed the security and organizational plans prepared for receiving pilgrims arriving in Madinah after performing Hajj, including operational arrangements and procedures. He also received a briefing on the roles undertaken by security authorities in and around the Prophet’s Mosque and their efforts in crowd management, traffic regulation, and maintaining the safety of visitors and worshippers.
The deputy governor stressed the importance of continuing to work in the spirit of one team and enhancing coordination and integration among security and service entities to ensure the provision of integrated services to pilgrims during their stay in Madinah. He emphasized that these efforts reflect the care and attention the Saudi leadership accords to serving and caring for pilgrims throughout the various stages of their journey.
