Madinah Municipality Plants Over 153,000 Trees and Shrubs in 2024

Madinah Municipality has planted over 153,000 trees and shrubs on 135,000 square meters of green spaces throughout 2024, as part of the municipality's commitment to improving the urban landscape in various squares and on main roads and vital streets in the city.

 Key initiatives undertaken this year include planting 40,365 trees and 112,706 shrubs, as well as expanding green spaces by 135,219 square meters. Moreover, the municipality has implemented a public parks development program in different neighborhoods, significantly improving the city's overall aesthetic appeal and creating a more inviting environment for residents and visitors.
