RSNF Concludes Participation in ‘Winds of Peace’ Exercise in Oman

 The joint naval exercise “Winds of Peace 2026” between the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF) and the Royal Navy of Oman concluded in Oman, with the participation of senior military leaders from both sides.
 Exercise Commander Brig. Gen. Mohammed bin Ayed Al-Otaibi confirmed that the exercise achieved its objectives, including exchanging expertise in naval operations and maritime security, responding rapidly to various threats, and unifying concepts in preparation, planning, and execution. It also strengthened cooperation and coordination between the two navies in monitoring and protecting maritime shipping lanes.
 He noted that the exercise featured a series of specialized drills, comprising naval scenarios and formations, naval aviation training, counterterrorism operations, visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) procedures, search and rescue missions, electronic warfare, countering fast attack craft, securing maritime routes, and protecting commercial vessels.
