China Southern Airlines Launches New Route between Guangzhou, Riyadh

China Southern Airlines, in cooperation with the Air Connectivity Program, the Saudi Tourism Authority, and Riyadh Airports Company, has announced the launch of a new flight route between Guangzhou in China and Riyadh, starting in September 2025. The route will operate three times per week, adding over 86,000 seats annually to this route.

 This expansion responds to the growing demand for travel between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the People’s Republic of China, following the notable success of the recently launched direct flights between Riyadh and Shenzhen by China Southern Airlines. The new route is expected to enhance travel options between the two friendly countries, further facilitating tourism, cultural exchange, and trade.
