Qassim Municipality to Turn Uyun Al-Jiwa's Historic Hilltop into Tourist Destination

Qassim Municipality, represented by Uyun Al-Jiwa Municipality, is preparing Al-Marqab Mountain to become an attractive tourist and social destination, benefiting from its elevated location and natural and historical features to enhance the experience of residents and visitors and stimulate tourism activity in the governorate.
 Uyun Al-Jiwa Municipality Chairman Eng. Falah Al-Jabreen said the mountain's development is part of the municipality's efforts to improve historical and natural sites, noting Al-Marqab's elevation and prominent views of the governorate's natural landscape.
 He added that the mountain is one of the landmarks associated with the history of Uyun Al-Jiwa, having been used in the past for surveillance purposes. Its elevated location also provides opportunities to enjoy nature and scenic views and engage in social and recreational activities.
