SAR, Turkish State Railways Sign MoU to Strengthen Cooperation

Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR) signed today a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Republic of Türkiye State Railways (TCDD) to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in the railway sector. The MoU was signed by CEO of SAR Dr. Bashar Al-Malik and Director General and Chairman of the Board of TCDD Veysi Kurt.
 The memorandum aims to foster collaboration and share experiences in railway maintenance and repair, infrastructure development, capacity management, training, and consultancy to establish an effective partnership in the railway sector. The agreement reflects both sides’ mutual desire to develop comprehensive and long-term cooperation across various aspects of the field.
 The signing took place at SAR headquarters in Riyadh during the visit of the Turkish delegation this morning. The two sides held a meeting attended by several executive leaders, followed by a field tour of the Operations and Control Center, where the delegation was briefed on the latest technologies used in operations and maintenance.
