SDAIA Continues National Awareness Efforts on Personal Data Protection Law

The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA), through its National Data Management Office, is continuing its awareness initiatives with a series of meetings and workshops aimed at educating stakeholders on the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Law.

 SDAIA organized 12 awareness workshops targeting employees from government agencies, the private sector, and the non-profit sector. During the second half of 2025, eight workshops were dedicated to the government sector, with 267 entities participating and 1,240 representatives in attendance. Three workshops targeted the private sector, drawing 1,255 participants, while one workshop focused on the non-profit sector and was attended by 239 employees from various organizations.

 The workshops also addressed the obligations of controlling entities regarding data processing, their relationships with processing entities, and the methods for documenting personal data processing activities.
