Al-Wajh's Sandy Shores Become Equestrian Paradise
Along the picturesque shores of Al-Wajh Governorate in Tabuk Region, equestrian enthusiasts are finding their perfect haven. The soft, expansive sands transform into an open arena, showcasing a rich heritage through the confident strides of horses, often set against the backdrop of a golden sunset.
Habban Beach, situated south of the governorate, stands out as a premier destination for horseback riding. Its enchanting natural beauty and vast sandy stretches offer riders a unique experience amidst the refreshing sea breeze and rhythmic sound of waves.
Abdullah Al-Marwani, a local stud owner, told a Saudi Press Agency reporter that the community's passion for this sport is deeply ingrained in the region's culture. "Horseback riding is not just a recreational activity here; it is a vital part of our heritage that many Al-Wajh residents are keen to learn and connect with," he stated.
Al-Marwani further highlighted Al-Wajh as an ideal environment for horse riding, thanks to its extensive plains and sandy landscapes, which provide ample private space for riders to hone their skills. The convenient proximity of marine parks to the city has also contributed to the sport's growing accessibility and popularity.
