Ministry of Environment Obtains ISO 42001 Accreditation

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture has received ISO 42001 accreditation for its artificial intelligence (AI) management systems.
 The ministry’s accreditation reflects the culmination of its efforts to establish a comprehensive AI governance system that includes risk assessment, a commitment to transparency and accountability, and adherence to laws and regulations, all with a focus on the safe and effective use of AI technologies to support decision-making while enhancing productivity and sustainability.
 This achievement is the result of promoting innovation and advancing digital transformation through emerging technologies to develop the environment, water, and agriculture sectors.
