Passports Directorate Boosts Volunteer Efforts to Aid Pilgrims

The General Directorate of Passports has committed to empowering both male and female volunteers during the Hajj season. These volunteers play a vital role in supporting and assisting pilgrims at international entry points, providing services from the moment of their arrival until their departure.
During the Hajj season of 1446 AH, the directorate has focused on strengthening the volunteer workforce by enhancing their professional skills and providing practical training in intercultural communication. These efforts aim to ensure effective service to pilgrims from diverse backgrounds and contribute to the broader objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The volunteers welcome pilgrims in the arrival terminals at ports of entry, facilitate their movement, and offer assistance and guidance in multiple languages.
