Prince Saud bin Nahar Launches Global Medical Tourism Conference in Taif

Governor of Taif Prince Saud bin Nahar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz launched today the Global Medical Tourism Conference, organized by Afaq Health Education from September 7 to 8, 2025, at the InterContinental Hotel in Taif. The conference features a distinguished group of experts and specialists from within and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
 The opening ceremony featured a presentation on medical tourism and the significance of the conference, which has brought together experts and professionals from around the world to exchange ideas and expertise, highlighting the ambitious goals that integrate health, tourism, and wellness.
 On the sidelines of the conference, Prince Saud witnessed the signing of several memoranda of understanding aimed at developing integrated services to support the medical tourism sector and open new horizons for regional and international cooperation. He also inaugurated the accompanying exhibition, which featured participation from government bodies, healthcare institutions, conference sponsors, and the private sector.
 The conference then commenced its panel and scientific sessions, with the participation of more than sixteen speakers, specialists, and experts in the field of medical tourism from within and outside the Kingdom, addressing opportunities and challenges in this sector.
