Saudi Film Festival Concludes at Ithra Center in Dhahran

The 12th Saudi Film Festival, organized by the Cinema Association in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and supported by the Film Commission, concluded its events in Dhahran with an awards ceremony honoring competition winners and a preview of features planned for the upcoming edition.

 The festival showcased 50 films, including features, shorts, and documentaries, alongside a variety of cultural and educational activities such as seminars, workshops, expert meetings, and book signings for the Saudi Cinema Encyclopedia.

 Through these initiatives, the festival reaffirmed its ongoing role as a vital Saudi platform that supports local cinema, strengthens its regional and international presence, and creates new avenues for cinematic stories to transition from initial ideas to the screen.
